How to pick the right size and skip the return

"M" does not mean the same thing at two different makers, and in boutiques sewing small runs it can differ between collections. That is why every product carries that boutique's size table, not one table for the whole shop.
Measure once, then just check
You need a soft tape and five minutes. Measure over underwear, without pulling the tape tight.
- Chest / bust — at the widest point, tape level.
- Waist — at the narrowest point, usually just above the navel.
- Hips — at the widest point, roughly 20 cm below the waist.
- Inside leg — from crotch to ankle, for trousers.
- Foot length — stand on paper, mark heel and longest toe, measure between.
Save the numbers in your account (Account → My sizes). From then on, products show which size from that boutique's table is closest to yours.
Read reviews for fit
Reviewers mark whether an item runs true to size, small or large. If several people say a dress is tight across the shoulders, take one size up.
When to size up
- Fabrics without elastane (linen, dense cotton, worsted wool) will not give.
- Oversize and boxy cuts are meant to be loose — usually take your own size, not one down.
- Measure coats over the knitwear you plan to wear underneath.
And if it still does not fit
You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract, no reason needed. Details in Returns and complaints.
